Finally given up on using a factory remote for my 850R after I ripped apart my dash and found some of the bits missing. So! I need to raise some funds for an aftermarket kit with side shooting flamethrowers......

Left - $20 - good condition

Middle - $50 - good condition

Right - $80 - brand spanking new

+$5 shipped anywhere in Aus

I think the left fits early 850s, 700/900 series, 400 etc. Middle fits most 850s and the right fits 850/x70 from 1996 to 2000 (maybe later, not too sure).
Dan , if they can be coded to x70 easily I reckon the centre one for me.
I will suss it out .
No dramas. Most cases all you gotta do is go from key position off to II 5 times in 10 seconds and then press a button on the remote. Should be in the manual there somewhere....

Left remote is for "basic alarm", middle & right is for "VGA 2" (Volvo Guard Alarm). Right remote is actually for the North American market but may work with cars in Oz as all VGA 2 transmits on the same frequency.

900 series from 95 onwards and all 850's are pre-wired/factory fitted. Only works with 700 series if a factory alarm kit has been added in the mid 90's. Won't work with 400's and x70's unfortunately.

@Ex850R Still got them. You were after the middle one if the above post serves me correct ;)
Urm. It's a FOB you push buttons to unlock your car? For $50 delivered! Or swapsies for 850 bits. Either or :D
Quick, what other 850 bits? It's all going be crushed.
Not that much really,it's GLT and a bit rough,I am keeping the low k 20 valve donk, struts and subframe in case I or others need a motor, subframe to maybe modify with braces and bash plate and struts to make coil overs all for possible V70 mods.... What do you need more to the point? Doors are.good but blue and in Victoria.....

I was thinking seals and stuff for doors, but I'm a thinking now might just source new because easier. And less likely to fail in the future.

Still $50 dullivered if you want it. Can PM you PayPal or bank deposit details and get it on its way.
I will kook at tehs seals , if looknig real good i will get them off and see for sure. it had a pampered life early on so may be very good.
Sweet. Front doors and the little rubber bits around the front windows should keep me out of trouble. Also, front drivers window channel too since it all is pretty crusty.

Bump - Still available.
Will that right one go with my soon to arrive 1996 960?
Possibly. Later 960s are listed as a compatible model.
